Builds & PlaystylePermalink to this section
The Morningstar Mace is the first Rare-grade club in the family — Combat Value 300 at 23 Attack, and the point where the Seer’s Blasphemer build stops being a tutorial. Its 1200 durability suits the path’s close-range reality: the Blasphemer trades the Catalyst’s range for Zeal-boosted rune attacks, so a sturdier Mace is genuinely part of the kit.
- Where it sits: the second rung of the Mace ladder (CV 300) — above the Spiked Mace (Common, CV 200), below the Antique Mace (Excellent, CV 400).
- When to use it: the leveling-to-midgame stretch, for solo runs and duels.
- When to swap: when an Excellent or better Mace drops — the Rare tier is the Seer’s comfort zone, not its ceiling.
Community note: SkyCoach’s playtest coverage described the Mace Seer as “a menace during playtests,” able to keep staggering with every combo hit, though it says that has since been fixed; no launch list ranks individual Maces. That is a community recollection of the beta, not official data.
