The Spiked Mace is the Seer’s on-ramp to the Mace route — the Common-tier club where the Blasphemer path’s two habits are meant to be learned: fill Curse Mana, then spend it through Unleash Zeal into enchanted rune attacks. With a flat 20 Attack and no modifier, it favors no particular rune choice, which is exactly what a learning weapon should do.

• Where it sits: the bottom of the real Mace ladder (Combat Value 200), above the damaged Rusty Spiked Mace (CV 100) and below the Morningstar Mace (Rare, CV 300).
• When to use it: your opening sessions as a Seer while you learn Curse Mana pacing and Zeal timing.
• When to swap: once a Rare or better Mace drops, or as soon as you can afford one.

Community note: the Seer build guide describes the Mace Blasphemer as the class’s solo and PvP path, and launch guides treat the Common Mace as its free starting point; no tier list ranks individual Maces. That is community opinion from the launch window, not official data.
